TNC-G22 : General 2-Axis Motion Controller
Two-axis programmable motion controller intended to replace a PLC and HMI pair, with 100 kHz differential step outputs, six inputs, three 7 A relays and a 20x4 display.
Overview
The TNC-G22 is a two-axis programmable motion controller, built to do the job a PLC and a separate HMI would otherwise share, in one panel-mounted box.
Each axis runs in linear or rotary mode. The rotary mode is where it earns its place: in division mode there is no accumulation of error, because when a circle cannot be divided exactly by the motor's step angle the remainder is distributed across the whole rotation rather than left to pile up at the last division.
Programs are entered at the 20x4 alphanumeric display and support nested loops, conditional skips on an input, dwell, counters and homing — enough to express a sequence that would otherwise need ladder logic.
It runs directly from 90-250 V AC at 50/60 Hz, so no separate supply is needed. Motor outputs are differential step and direction on four channels, which is what keeps the pulse train clean on a panel shared with contactors. There are six NPN inputs, IN1 dedicated to program run/pause, three open-collector 24 V relay drivers and three 7 A relays on board.
The enclosure is 165 x 102 x 76 mm and drops into a 155 x 92 mm panel cutout. Maximum operating temperature is 55 °C.

Can this actually replace a PLC and HMI for a simple two-axis job, or is that just marketing?
That's specifically what it's built for — doing the job a PLC and a separate HMI would otherwise share, in one panel-mounted box.
I need to index a rotary table many times without error building up over a full rotation — can it handle that?
Yes, that's what division mode is for — when a circle can't be divided exactly by the motor's step angle, the remainder is distributed across the whole rotation rather than piling up at the last division.
Does it need a separate power supply, or can it run straight off mains?
Straight off mains — 90-260 V AC at 50/60 Hz, no separate supply needed.
Can I build in conditional logic, like skipping a step if a sensor isn't triggered, without a PLC?
