Overview

The TNC-P32 is an offline two-axis controller for dot-peen marking — permanently stamping a part with text or a code by driving a marking pin across its surface.

It prints alphanumeric text and generates and marks Datamatrix codes directly, for traceability marking that has to survive machining, paint or years of handling in a way a printed label cannot. A handheld pendant with its own remote display handles jogging and setup away from the panel.

Motor outputs are differential step and direction for a stepper or servo drive on each axis, with independent maximum velocity and acceleration settable per axis. Programs load from a USB thumb drive and the controller runs independently of a PC once a program is loaded.

Where the TNC-L32 (TNC-P32-1) adds a third axis for a lathe headstock, the TNC-P32 is the two-axis marking-only member of the range.
